About Chris Keene

Chris Keene founded Revenue Rocketeering to combine his passions for entrepreneurship and strategic consulting. He started his career leading technology strategy projects for McKinsey. Later, he founded and took public Persistence Software, a real-time data analytics company.

 

As VP Cloud for VMware he drove the vision for the their $500M spinout of Pivotal. As GM for the $300M Security and Automation group at BMC, he launched the SecOps market, revitalizing their growth overnight.

 

He holds a BS with Honors from Stanford in Mathematical Sciences (under advisor John McCarthy, AI researcher and inventor of LISP). He is a Wharton MBA, an adjunct professor in entrepreneurship at INSEAD and lecturer at Berkeley Haas school.

 

When he is not immersed in technology, he is a “civic entrepreneur” and creator of Noe Valley Town SquareSlow Sanchez and Embarcadero Bricks. He also enjoys open water swimming in the San Francisco Bay, gardening and playing guitar. Fluent in French and German.
